So the weekend of the 15th and 16th of September I was lucky enough to visit Abergavenny Food Festival for the first time. I’ve been meaning to go for years. Even getting the opportunity to go with a press pass last year but not being able to go due to work commitments. Finally getting to go was very exciting. I couldn’t wait to try as much food as possible and see some fantastic demos by some top chefs/cooks. Obviously I was most excited about the outdoor cooking elements and BBQ but there was loads more to see and taste. Given the fact Cardiff’s Street Food Circus opened its tent on the weekend I believe most of my readers would have visited that. Although I am extremely excited to visit the Street Food Circus (there’s so much food I have to try there) I took the opportunity to visit Shebeen Festival in Manchester on Saturday. Street Food Circus is there for a while, but Shebeen was only there for one day. You all would have liked it! Good food, music, comedy and beer… Don’t forget the beer!
Last weekend I found myself wandering around Abergavenny with my daughter. Shopping, soaking up the sun (surprisingly) and looking for something I might be able to talk about on this blog.
